MIAMI, May 10, 2011-Miami's Chunky Chickz is back with another round of South Florida's premier independent artist showcase, Miami Renaissance; with live performances by Vaughn.G, LyricTye, and The Back Pack Cliq; Sunday, May 15, 2011, 8:00PM at The Stage, located at 170 NE 38th St in Miami, Fl.
Also performing Live: SassySingz, Phatz McFLy, Tamika J, Cash Flizzo, Dashius Clay, and Ramzez
The Miami Renaissance Artist showcase is not your typical open mic night; the showcase concept pays homage to the artistic styles that fueled the Harlem Renaissance. Live music with on the spot improvisation challenges artist to step out of their comfort zone of studio-recorded tracks.
Hosted by one of South Florida's most unique personalities,"Empress" CEO and founder of 'Chunky Chickz'; a principal voice in Miami's independent music community since 2005. Miami Renaissance Live will allow those in music and entertainment to showcase their talent and network with established recording artist, DJs, A&R's and members of the press.
Particpants will have a chance to network during the 365Voice.com SoundLab Networking Lounge hosted by Rockstarr Diva as well as receive a chance to speak with other members of the press in attendance.
